As you can see from two extracts of a Boundary Commission Map, in 1917 Coxlodge was a distinct settlement with a clear gap of fields between it and nearby Gosforth and Kenton. To the north west was nothing but fields.


Fancy Dress & Football

The local Methodist community worked hard to provide sober entertainment in an age where ordinarily the pub was the heart of each community.
