The 1960s saw massive change in the Netherley area of Liverpool, with the development of nearby farmland as the city’s old streets and communities were destroyed by planners and bulldozers.
The new housing and ways of living didn’t provide a new utopia, but many people look back fondly on their childhoods in the area while also acknowleding the difficulties.
