Sir Kingsley Wood opens the 1,000th house on the Lunt Estate in Bilston, Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands.

As Minister of Health, Kingsley Wood’s remit included both health and housing.

He shakes hands with a man, takes part in the speeches, and then goes in to view a house with a large crowd of men!

Everyone looks very happy.
